An undertaking provided by the Bank on behalf of a buyer to a seller that guarantees payment to the seller if terms and conditions are complied with.

To apply, kindly fulfill the below requirements:

Applicant must have an Import LC facility line opened and active with Al Salam Bank.
Applicant must have an active Account with Al Salam Bank.
Applicant must fill the provided LC Facility application form or LC Amendment Form in case of amendment to existing LC, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
Applicant must attach a copy of the proforma invoice.

In the case of delivery by road – Applicant must fill the below Truck Indemnity form, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
Applicant must fill the Agency Agreement, stamp it and have it signed by authorized signatories.
Applicant must submit the above-mentioned documents at the Trade Finance Desk.

Required Documents

Insurance Policy/Certificate (not required for CIF)
Truck Indemnity Form (in case of land shipment)
