This recognition highlights the Bank’s exceptional performance in optimizing the efficiency of US Dollar payments. The award was presented to Mr. Abdulkarim Turki - Chief Operating Offer of Al Salam Bank, by Mr. Nawaf Humood, Head of Payments– Bahrain at J.P. Morgan, in the presence of the Bank’s senior management and respective team members.
The award reflects stringent Straight Through Processing (STP) performance standards set by SWIFT message types, which ensure seamless payment operations. It is categorized into two main tiers: Quality Recognition and Elite Quality Recognition, acknowledging organizations with a proven track record of exceptional performance, efficiency optimization, and operational excellence.
Al Salam Bank was recognized for its remarkable STP rates, exceeding 99% for the MT103 message type and over 99.7% for the MT202 message type. This outstanding achievement reinforces the Bank’s commitment to delivering efficient, seamless transactions for its clients while maintaining its position as a leader in the industry.
